DIALOGUE THROUGH GLASS
Outlines of landscapes, as well as the silhouette of the human face are individual, unique. I have always been interested in the contour of a face, the distinctive curved line one owns throughout live. Beholding someone’s face from the side, I can see the person in a way they would never see themselves. Just as my own silhouette remains hidden from myself.
LANGSAMKEIT
Landscapes, cityscapes, faces of today and yesterday, all SCAPES in my mind´s eye. Variations of reality and my idea of it, to always look at it from a different angle – weaving past and present into a valid moment – a unique moment never happening again, impossible to be recreated again. The images mirror a concealed past, another time, yet also something else after all these years – glimpses of something that remains open ended.

BERLIN RIDE
JOURNEY
A train journey in northern Germany on a rainy day, photographed by the window. From time to time a picture is taken, in which characteristic motifs are recorded – a cottage, bridges over rivers and canals, an oncoming train, moments that reflect the character of the area and the atmosphere of the very day.

NEVER ENDING
Photographing myself by remote shutter release. Leafing through magazines and looking at faces gazing at each other or something. Endless immersing into a deep room, analog of social media.

It belongs to the imperfection of everything human that man can only attain his desire by passing through ist opposite.

ENLIGHTENMENT
My endless journeys to the enlightend spaces, the countless trips to the realm of the beautyful and the artificial. Inspired by Rem Kohlhaas I am the visual kleptomaniac, within piled up layers of lifelessness, of loneliness, disorders, of beauty in transition.Trips to nonplaces in Berlin and London, urbanlandscapes. Public spaces, full of speed yet static, morbid layers of the void, of patterns and destructions, of ornaments anonymous.

GOTHAM CITY
An atmospheric, introspective feel pervades these images and my memory of this time. I was getting to know the streets of New York, hidden as a multiple self in Anonymity.
